Giusy is a Biomedical Engineer and she earned a PhD in Analytical Chemistry at Dublin City University in Ireland. Her research interests are mainly focused on the development of wearable devices and low-cost point of care systems that exploit the versatility of biomaterials.
Giusy loves fashion, cinema and travelling around the world. She is originally from Sardinia, one of the Italian pearls in the Mediterranean sea. An islander at heart, she feels that she cannot live far from the seaside. During summers, she enjoys exploring beaches and seaports all over New England, while also looking for the best ice cream shops to fuel her during “exhausting” summer trips.
